The eufyCam C37 uses a motorised pan-and-tilt mechanism to sweep the full 360° horizontal and vertical range, so one camera covers the area that would otherwise require two or three fixed units. When Smart AI Detection identifies a person, vehicle, or pet entering the frame, 360° AI Tracking locks on and follows the subject smoothly until they leave the zone, keeping them centred without manual adjustment.

The C37 records at 2K resolution, delivering 77% more pixels than standard 1080p, and the built-in spotlight illuminates faces, number plates, and clothing in vivid colour even in total darkness. The Spotlight Color and Infrared Mode gives you the choice between discreet infrared monitoring and active full-colour illumination, depending on your preference and installation site.

Detachable Solar Panel for Flexible Installation:

The 3W solar panel connects via a flexible cable and can be positioned independently of the camera head, so you can angle the panel toward the best light source while aiming the camera exactly where it is needed. Approximately 2.5 hours of direct sunlight per day is sufficient to maintain continuous operation, and the 6,700 mAh internal battery provides up to 45 days of use per charge when solar input is unavailable.

Setup and Care

Positioning the Camera and Solar Panel:

Mount the camera at a height of 2-3 metres for the widest effective 360° tracking arc. The solar panel connects via a flexible cable, so position it on the sunniest face of the wall or roof overhang while the camera head faces the area you want to monitor. Approximately 2.5 hours of direct sunlight each day is sufficient to maintain the charge level for typical usage.

Inserting a MicroSD Card:

A microSD card up to 256 GB is required for local recording and is not included in the box. Insert a Class 10 or UHS-I rated card before powering on the camera for the first time. All footage stored on the card is encrypted and accessible only through your eufy account.

Connecting to the eufy App:

Download the eufy Security app (version 6.0.10 or newer) and follow the in-app setup guide to pair the camera with your HomeBase Mini or HomeBase S380. The camera connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only, so ensure your router is set to broadcast on the 2.4 GHz band during setup. Voice assistant integration with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant can be enabled from within the app once the camera is online.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Wipe the camera lens and solar panel surface with a soft dry cloth to remove dust, moisture, or debris that could reduce image clarity or solar charging efficiency. The IP65 rating means the unit is protected against water jets and dust ingress, so routine outdoor use in Irish weather conditions is well within its design tolerance. Avoid abrasive cloths or chemical cleaners on the lens or panel surface.
