Setup and Care

Pairing with the Google Health app:

Download the Google Health app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Sign in with your Google Account and follow the on-screen instructions to pair the Fitbit Air via Bluetooth. The app will guide you through sensor calibration, band fitting, and personalised goal setting. All health and fitness data from the tracker will sync automatically to the app throughout the day.

Wearing and swapping bands:

The Fitbit Air pebble clips into the band with a press-click mechanism. To swap bands, press the pebble inward to release it from the current band, then click it into a new band. The micro-adjustable textile band fits wrists from 130mm to 210mm. Wear the tracker snug against the skin (not too tight) for accurate heart rate and SpO2 readings. For best results during exercise, wear the tracker slightly higher on the wrist.

Charging and battery management:

Connect the included charging cable to the Fitbit Air pebble. A full charge provides up to 7 days of continuous tracking. If you are short on time, 5 minutes of charging provides enough battery for a full day. The status LED shows white during charging and turns solid when fully charged. For consistent tracking, charge the Fitbit Air at the same time each week, such as during your morning routine.

Water exposure and cleaning:

The 5 ATM rating allows the Fitbit Air to be worn in the shower, pool, and during water-based activities to a depth of 50 metres. After swimming in salt water or chlorinated pools, rinse the tracker and band under fresh water and dry thoroughly. Clean the band regularly with a damp cloth to remove sweat, sunscreen, and skin oils. Avoid wearing the band too tightly overnight to allow airflow to the skin.
