The MOVA ViAX 500 sets up without perimeter wires, RTK stations, or external antennas. UltraEyes 2.0 combines AI dual-vision cameras with a full 360° LiDAR sensor to map your garden, plan its route, and navigate reliably in daylight and low-light conditions. Minimum passage width is 60 cm, and the mower handles slopes of up to 40% (22°) and vertical obstacles up to 4 cm high.

Efficient U-shape path planning:

Rather than the random bouncing pattern found in older wire-guided robots, the ViAX 500 follows a structured U-shaped mowing path for full, even coverage on every run. In Standard Mode it covers approximately 120 m² per charge, rising to 150 m² in Efficient Mode, with daily coverage of up to 600 m² in Efficient Mode. Five mowing modes in total let you match the cutting strategy to your garden layout and grass conditions.

Cutting height and blade system:

An integrated control knob adjusts cutting height from 2 cm to 6 cm without tools, and the 20 cm Floating Cutting System uses dynamic blade suspension to absorb terrain variation and maintain an even cut across uneven ground. Dual-mode edge cutting manages borders alongside the U-shape programme for a tidy finish at lawn edges.

TrueGuard security and app control:

The TrueGuard system monitors your garden beyond mowing hours, providing live video tracking, voice alerts, human detection, and scheduled patrol runs via the MOVAhome app on iOS or Android. Anti-theft features include real-time tracking, an off-map alarm, lift-up alerts, and a built-in AirTag storage slot. Two independent maps and up to 150 zones can be managed from the app, keeping split or multi-area gardens organised.

IPX6 waterproofing and 45-minute charging:

Setup and Care

Getting started:

Place the charging station on a flat, sheltered surface with access to a mains socket. Download the MOVAhome app on iOS or Android and follow the in-app setup guide to connect the mower and run the initial mapping session. No perimeter wire or external antenna is needed - the UltraEyes 2.0 system builds the garden map autonomously on first use.

Scheduling and zone management:

Use the MOVAhome app to set mowing schedules, assign up to 150 zones across two independent maps, and choose from five mowing modes to suit current grass conditions. Cutting height can be adjusted at any time using the integrated knob on the mower, moving between 2 cm and 6 cm without tools.

Cleaning and maintenance:

The IPX6-rated waterproof design allows the exterior and underside of the mower to be rinsed with water after each use; use the included microfibre cloth to keep the camera and LiDAR lens clean for reliable navigation. Check blade condition regularly and replace using the included spare blades, Allen key, and screwdriver when wear becomes apparent.

Storage and winter care:

At the end of the mowing season, clean the mower thoroughly, charge the battery to full, and store indoors in a dry location away from frost. Bring the charging station indoors as well, and disconnect it from the mains supply during extended storage periods.
