The Quooker Flex Round replaces your standard kitchen mixer tap and delivers boiling, hot and cold water from a single spout. The PRO3 tank stores 3 litres of water at 110°C under the sink, heating up in approximately 10 minutes and drawing just 10 watts equivalent to roughly 3 pence a day on standby. No kettle required, and no waiting for water to boil.

Pull-out hose with built-in safety stop:

The Flex is Quooker's only tap with a flexible pull-out hose, adding directional reach for rinsing, cleaning, filling tall pots and washing vegetables. A dedicated boiling water stop automatically disables boiling water delivery the moment the hose is pulled out, so the spray function is never active at boiling temperature. The insulated spout is cool to the touch and rotates 270° for flexible positioning over the sink.

Child-safe double-action handle:

Boiling water only flows after the handle is pressed twice and then turned  a deliberate two-step action that prevents accidental activation. This system is designed to make the Quooker safer around children than a conventional kettle, where the Dutch Burns Foundation has conducted independent research supporting the safety credentials of boiling water taps. The stainless steel finish is a metal alloy of iron, chromium, nickel and carbon, resistant to humidity and hard to scratch.

HiTAC® filtration and optional CUBE upgrade:

Before leaving the PRO3 tank, all water passes through the HiTAC® high temperature-activated carbon filter, improving purity at point of use. For households who want chilled still or sparkling water as well, the Flex is compatible with the Quooker CUBE tank, sold separately, which connects alongside the PRO3 under the sink without requiring an additional tap hole.

Setup and Care

Installation:

The Flex Round requires a single 35 mm tap hole and fits worktops up to 50 mm thick. The PRO3 tank is installed under the sink and connects to a standard 230 V plug socket. Professional installation by a qualified plumber is recommended to ensure compliance with Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999.

First use:

The PRO3 tank reaches full operating temperature in approximately 10 minutes after first switch-on. Allow the tank to complete its initial heat cycle before dispensing boiling water. Flush the HiTAC® filter briefly on first use as described in the installation guide.

Ongoing care:

Wipe the stainless steel tap body with a soft, damp cloth to maintain its finish. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which can mark the surface. In hard water areas, descaling every 6 months helps maintain the tank's output and efficiency.

Filter and maintenance:

The HiTAC® filter within the PRO3 tank should be replaced periodically in line with Quooker's guidelines. Quooker replacement filters are available directly from the manufacturer and selected retailers, and are straightforward to swap without specialist tools.
