This Rawlplug 6.5mm HSS drill bit features a ground spiral rather than a rolled one, producing tighter tolerances and a cleaner finish in the cut. SPLIT POINT geometry for easy starting:
The SPLIT POINT double-sided geometry at the tip centres the bit on contact, eliminating the need for a centre punch on most applications. This reduces drilling pressure and the tendency for the bit to wander, making it easier to start holes accurately in flat or curved metal surfaces.
135° angle and HSS construction for hard materials:
