Rawlplug RL140 Heavy Duty Staples for Roofing and Insulation Work
Built to hold without bending:
The Rawlplug RL140 14mm staples are made from hardened wire that retains its shape even when driven into hard substrates such as timber, plywood, and chipboard. Each staple is galvanised to resist corrosion, making them a practical choice for roofing repairs and construction applications where moisture exposure is a factor.
Wide flat wire for delicate materials:
With a 1.25mm flat wire profile and a 10.5mm crown width, these staples spread the fixing load across a wider surface area. This makes them well suited to work involving insulation material and thin plastic sheeting, where a narrow-gauge staple could cut or tear the surface on contact.
Trade-grade compatibility across common substrates:
Part of Rawlplug's Green Line professional staple range, the RL140 Type 140 system is compatible with a wide range of RL140-designated staplers and hammer tackers. The 14mm size is the largest in the RL140 range and is designed for use in timber, oriented strand board, plasterboard, plywood, and chipboard.
