The Rawlplug Aggressor RT-SDSA-8/160 is an 8mm x 160mm SDS Plus drill bit designed for use with SDS Plus hammer drills on concrete, solid brick, hollow brick, aerated concrete block and natural stone (after site testing). Its 160° tip angle cuts quickly into masonry, and the integral centring point stops the bit wandering at the start of each hole, giving you a clean, accurate result from the first contact.

Carbide Plate with Deep Seating:

The 2-cutter carbide plate is seated particularly deeply into the drill steel, increasing the connection area between the plate and the core. This reduces the risk of the tip loosening under repeated impact load and extends working life in demanding conditions. The aggressive groove profile also clears debris efficiently as the bit advances, reducing resistance and keeping the hole clean.

High-Strength Alloy Steel Construction:

The drill body is manufactured from 34CrNiMo6 alloy steel, heat treated to 52 HRC hardness. This specification provides the strength and toughness needed to withstand the repeated impact forces of SDS hammer drilling without deforming or cracking. The SicherSafe international quality certificate independently confirms that drilled holes meet cylindricity and axial alignment standards.
