The Rawlplug RT-FLWD-100-152 is a 10mm spade drill bit designed for fast drilling of large-diameter holes in wood, chipboard, oriented strand board (OSB), and timber. The geometry of the blade, combined with rounded cutting surfaces, allows material to be removed quickly without excessive effort.
Centring point for controlled starts:
A precision centring point is machined into the tip of the bit, anchoring it firmly before the blade engages the workpiece. This prevents the bit from wandering or slipping on the surface, giving cleaner hole entry and more accurate results, particularly on flat-grained boards.
Reinforced shank and impact driver compatibility:
The bit features a reinforced 1/4" (6.35mm) hex shank that delivers high torsional strength under load. This shank format is compatible with most cordless impact drivers on the market, as well as standard keyed and keyless chuck drills, making the bit suitable for site trades and workshop use alike.
