Setup and Care

SIM card insertion and initial setup:

Use the SIM ejection pin to open the SIM tray. Insert your nano-SIM card, or activate an eSIM through your mobile network provider's app or QR code. Power on the phone and follow the on-screen setup wizard to connect to Wi-Fi, sign into your Samsung and Google accounts, and transfer data from a previous phone using Samsung Smart Switch.

Camera settings and photography tips:

The 50MP main camera uses OIS to reduce blur in handheld photos. Night Mode activates automatically in low-light conditions or can be selected manually for longer exposure shots. Use the ultrawide lens for landscapes, interiors, and group photos where you need a wider field of view. The macro lens focuses as close as a few centimetres for detailed close-up shots of flowers, text, and small objects.

Battery management and fast charging:

The 5,000mAh battery supports up to 2 days of typical use. To fast charge at 45W, use a compatible USB-C charger rated for 45W or higher (sold separately). The included USB-C cable supports fast charging with a compatible charger. Enable Adaptive Battery in settings to optimise background app usage and extend battery life further.

Software updates and device care:

Samsung provides 6 years of Android OS upgrades and security patches. Check for updates in Settings, Software Update, and install them regularly to maintain security and access new features.
