Independent Cooling for Fridge and Freezer:

Twin Cooling Plus™ runs separate airflows to the fridge and freezer compartments, so humidity levels in the fridge stay consistent and odours cannot travel between sections. Total No Frost eliminates the need for manual defrosting in both compartments. Power Cool and Power Freeze functions deliver rapid temperature recovery after the door has been opened frequently, helping food stay at safe temperatures.

Smart Control via SmartThings:

Wi-Fi connectivity links the fridge to the Samsung SmartThings platform, allowing remote temperature adjustments, energy usage tracking via SmartThings Energy, and appliance health monitoring via SmartThings Home Care. Setup and Care

Installation Requirements:

Allow a minimum clearance of 50 mm to each side, 25 mm above, and 25 mm behind the unit to ensure adequate ventilation. The recess dimensions required are 1776 x 817 x 821 mm (HxWxD). Level the unit on a firm, flat floor before switching on for the first time.

Water Connection for Ice Maker:

The Auto Icemaker requires a direct connection to a mains cold-water supply. A qualified plumber should carry out this connection before the ice-making function is activated. If no plumbing connection is available, all other functions operate normally without it.

SmartThings App Setup:

Download the free Samsung SmartThings app and follow the in-app pairing instructions to connect the fridge to your home Wi-Fi network. Once connected, you can set temperatures, monitor energy use, and receive Home Care alerts remotely. Register the product with Samsung within 28 days of purchase to activate the 5-year warranty extension at no extra charge.

Ongoing Care:

Wipe the Refined Inox exterior with a soft damp cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners or steel wool pads, which can mark the finish. Clean interior shelves and drawers with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly before replacing. Total No Frost means no routine manual defrosting is needed in either compartment.
