Setup and Care

Positioning:

Place the fridge on a firm, level surface with adequate ventilation clearance at the rear and sides as specified in the user manual. Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 4 hours before switching on if it has been transported on its side.

Initial setup:

Download the SmartThings app and follow the in-app instructions to connect the fridge to your home Wi-Fi network. Register the appliance at samsung.com within 90 days of purchase to activate the full 5-year warranty.

Temperature settings:

Set the temperature using the fridge's control panel or via the SmartThings app. The recommended storage temperature for fresh food is typically 3-5°C; refer to the user manual for guidance on optimal settings for different food types.

Routine care:

Total No Frost removes the need for manual defrosting. Wipe the interior surfaces periodically with a mild, damp cloth and ensure door seals are kept clean to maintain efficient operation.
