Setup and Care

Getting started:

Plug the BES602 into a standard 230V mains socket. Fit the supplied U-shank wood cutting blade using the tool-free release collar - no tools required. Mark your cut line clearly on the workpiece and position the metal base plate flat on the material before starting the blade.

Blade selection:

The BES602 accepts both T-shank and U-shank blades, which are widely available from hardware and DIY retailers. Use a wood blade for timber, MDF, and laminate; a metal-cutting blade for steel or aluminium sheet. Check that the blade is fully seated and the release collar is secure before each use.

Bevel cutting:

To make angled cuts, loosen the base plate using the hex key and tilt to the required angle between 0° and 45°. Re-tighten the base plate firmly before cutting. A bevel scale on the base plate indicates the set angle.

Keeping the tool in good condition:

After use, disconnect from the mains and wipe the body and base plate clean with a dry cloth. Keep the dust extraction port clear of debris. Store in a dry location away from moisture. Blades should be inspected before each use and replaced if worn, chipped, or bent.
