Bosch GSB 18V-25 Professional Combi Drill for Light- to Medium-Duty Work

Versatile cordless performance:

The Bosch GSB 18V-25 is a cordless combi drill suited to screwdriving and drilling into wood, metal, and masonry. With a maximum torque of 60Nm, 20 torque settings, and a 2-speed gearbox offering 0-440 rpm and 0-1,650 rpm, it gives the operator precise control across a wide range of everyday tasks. An impact rate of 24,000 bpm makes it capable of working through masonry without a mains-powered tool.

Battery system and included kit:

This XMS26BCOMBI kit supplies two GBA 18V 4.0Ah Li-Ion batteries featuring CoolPack technology, which actively manages heat to protect the cells during demanding use. The included GAL 18V-40 charger brings each 4.0Ah battery to 80% charge in 48 minutes and full charge in 65 minutes, so downtime between jobs is kept short. The GSB 18V-25 is compatible with all Bosch Professional 18V batteries and chargers across the full system range, which has been unified since 2008.

Practical design for daily use:

The drill weighs just 1.2 kg without a battery, and its pistol-grip body with soft-grip handle reduces fatigue when working overhead or for extended periods. A built-in LED work light illuminates the work area in darker conditions. The keyless chuck accepts bits from 1.5 mm up to 13 mm, covering standard wood, metal, and masonry accessories. Everything in this kit is supplied in a robust Bosch L-BOXX for organised transport and storage on site.

Setup and Care

Getting started:

Charge both GBA 18V 4.0Ah batteries fully using the GAL 18V-40 charger before first use. Insert the battery pack until it clicks securely into position on the tool, then select the appropriate torque setting and gear for your application before switching on.

Choosing settings:

Use the lower torque settings and first gear for screwdriving tasks where depth control is important. Switch to second gear and higher speeds for drilling into wood and metal, and engage the hammer function for masonry work.

Battery care:

The CoolPack technology on the included batteries helps manage operating temperature during use. Store batteries at room temperature and avoid leaving them in a discharged state for prolonged periods to maintain cell performance over time.

Cleaning and storage:

Wipe the tool body with a dry cloth after use and ensure the chuck and bit recess are free of debris before storing. The included L-BOXX keeps the drill, both batteries, and the charger together in a single organised carry case, making it straightforward to transport to and from site.
