Douglas Clear Lamp Oil for Indoor Use
Refined for Indoor Spaces:
Douglas Clear Lamp Oil is a highly refined, ultra-pure paraffin oil produced specifically for indoor environments. Its formulation is engineered to burn cleanly with minimal smoke, keeping the air in enclosed spaces comfortable and free from the strong odours associated with less refined fuels.
Low Odour, Clean Flame:
The ultra-pure hydrocarbon base - C11 to C14 n-alkanes, isoalkanes, and cyclics with less than 2% aromatics - delivers a steady, consistent flame in traditional oil lamps, hurricane lanterns, and decorative indoor burners. The low aromatic content is directly responsible for the reduced odour output during burning.
Safe Handling and Storage:
With a flash point above 75°C and an auto-ignition temperature above 240°C, this lamp oil has a wide margin of safety compared to more volatile fuels. The 1-litre bottle meets current packaging regulations for household supply, supplied in an opaque container as required for general public sale.
