Whether you are refreshing garden furniture, touching up metalwork, or tackling a small decorating project, this spray paint applies quickly and evenly straight from the can.

Lead and Toluene Free Formulation:

The Douglas Multi Surface Spray Paint is formulated without lead, toluene, or xylene - making it a more responsible choice for DIY use in the home. The formula also actively inhibits rust and corrosion, which makes it particularly useful on bare or painted metal surfaces that are exposed to the elements.

Why Shop With Us?

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this multi surface spray paint free from harmful solvents?

The formulation contains no lead, toluene, or xylene, making it a more responsible choice for DIY use at home. It is classed as an extremely flammable aerosol and the pressurised container can burst if heated, so it must be kept away from heat sources and not exposed to temperatures above 50°C. Use in a well-ventilated area. Refer to the safety data sheet before use.

Does this spray paint protect metal surfaces from rust?

Yes, the formula actively inhibits rust and corrosion, which makes it particularly useful on bare or painted metal surfaces exposed to the elements. It is suitable for both interior and exterior use, so it works well on outdoor metalwork, garden furniture, and similar projects. No brushes are needed - the paint applies straight from the 400ml aerosol can.

Can I attach a trigger grip to this aerosol for better control?

Yes, this 400ml aerosol is compatible with the Douglas Spray Paint Trigger Grip, sold separately under the code DSTRIG. A trigger grip reduces hand fatigue during longer spraying sessions and gives more consistent control over the spray pattern. It is not included in the box, but it is available separately from the Douglas range.

Can I recycle my old appliance or electrical item with Heavins.ie?

Yes, Heavins.ie is fully committed to environmental responsibility and participates in Ireland’s WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) recycling scheme. That means when you buy a new electrical item from us, we offer free recycling of your old appliance or electrical item.
