Faithfull Prestige Scaffold Spirit Level with Magnetic Base and V-Groove

Built for scaffolders, pipefitters and steel erectors:

The Faithfull FAISLHD250 is a 250mm scaffold spirit level from the Faithfull Prestige range, built to professional trade standards. The die-cast aluminium body features a black powder-coated finish and is shaped for easy handling, making it a practical choice for working on scaffold poles, structural steelwork and pipework.

Hands-free magnetic attachment:

The milled base incorporates two recessed rare-earth magnets that hold the level securely to steel surfaces without needing a free hand to steady it. A V-groove cut into the base allows accurate positioning directly on cylindrical pipes, keeping the level stable while readings are taken.

Two vials for horizontal and vertical readings:

Two solid acrylic vials cover the two most common checks on site - 180° for horizontal and 90° for plumb. Both vials are read to an accuracy of ±0.5mm per metre, meeting the demands of professional scaffold and steelwork applications.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this scaffold spirit level hold to steel surfaces without a free hand?

Yes. The milled base incorporates two recessed rare-earth magnets that grip steel surfaces securely, leaving both hands free while readings are taken. A V-groove cut into the same base lets the level sit accurately and stably on cylindrical pipes, so there is no need to steady it by hand whether working on scaffold poles, structural steelwork, or pipework. The XMS26SCAFLEV is built specifically for these hands-free site conditions.

How accurate is this scaffold spirit level?

Both vials are accurate to plus or minus 0.5 mm per metre, meeting professional scaffold and steelwork standards. There are two solid acrylic vials: one for horizontal readings at 180 degrees and one for plumb at 90 degrees, covering the two checks most commonly needed on site. That combination of accuracy and dual-vial coverage is what places this level in the Faithfull Prestige professional range.

What is this scaffold level's body made from?

The body is die-cast aluminium with a black powder-coated finish, shaped specifically for easy handling. Die-cast aluminium gives a rigid, durable frame that resists the knocks and rough handling typical of scaffolding and steel erection work, while the powder-coat finish protects against corrosion and wear on site.
