Setup and Care

Positioning the Solar Panel:

Mount the solar panel in a location that receives direct sunlight for at least 6 hours per day. The panel adjusts through 180 degrees and can be detached from the string for optimum placement. Use the included ground stake or mounting support to secure it in position.

Installing the String Lights:

Use the included zip ties and mounting support to hang the string along fencing, pergolas, balcony railings, or hedging. The 8 bulbs are spaced 1.5m apart, making the 10m string well suited to a standard garden fence or patio perimeter. Both the bulbs and solar panel are IP67 rated, so no additional weatherproofing is needed.

Charging in Low-Light Conditions:

When solar charging is insufficient - during overcast periods or if the panel is partially shaded - connect a 5V/2A USB-C adapter (not included) to the charging port on the solar module. Charging via USB-C is only effective when ambient temperature is between 0°C and 50°C.

Care and Maintenance:

Wipe the solar panel surface periodically with a clean, damp cloth to remove dust, bird droppings, or debris that could reduce charging efficiency. The bulbs are shatterproof and require no replacement under normal use given the 30,000-hour LED lifespan. Store or disconnect during extended periods of extreme cold below -20°C.
