The Govee Table Lamp Classic S uses RGBICWW technology to deliver both vivid colour and tunable white light from a single lamp. You can dial the colour temperature anywhere from a warm 2700K up to a cool 6500K, making it equally useful as a bedside reading light or an ambient accent piece. CRI exceeds 85, so colours in the room render accurately under the light.

Portable and cordless with serious battery life:

The built-in 4800mAh lithium battery provides between 5 and 30 hours of use on a single charge, depending on your brightness and colour settings. A full charge takes 3.5 hours via the included USB-C cable, and the lamp's cord-free design means you can move it freely between rooms or use it on a covered patio without needing a nearby socket. When the USB-C adapter is reconnected, the lamp automatically exits Energy Saving Mode and restores full smart connectivity.

Smart home ready across major platforms:

Setup and Care

Getting started:

Download the Govee Home app on iOS or Android and follow the in-app setup to connect the lamp to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The lamp can also be paired via Bluetooth for local control without a Wi-Fi connection. Voice assistant linking is done through the relevant platform app (Alexa, Google Home, or SmartThings) after initial setup.

Charging the lamp:

Connect the included USB-C cable to a 5V/2A USB-C adapter (not included) and plug into the port on the lamp base. A full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours. For the longest battery life, avoid leaving the lamp on maximum brightness settings continuously when running on battery power alone.

Cleaning and care:

Wipe the lamp shade and base with a soft, dry or lightly dampened cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or spray cleaning products directly onto the lamp. The lamp is intended for indoor use or sheltered outdoor areas and should be kept away from direct rain or moisture.

App and firmware:

Keep the Govee Home app updated to access the latest scene modes and AI Lighting Bot 2.0 features. Firmware updates for the lamp itself are delivered over-the-air through the app when the lamp is connected to Wi-Fi. If the lamp enters Energy Saving Mode after being unplugged, Wi-Fi and voice assistant functions will pause until the adapter is reconnected or the mode is manually disabled in the app.
