At the heart of the Tapo T310 is a Swiss-made sensing element that measures temperature to within ±0.3°C and humidity to within ±3% RH. Readings refresh every 2 seconds, so the figure you see in the Tapo app reflects what is actually happening in the room right now - not data from several minutes ago.
Automate Your Home Around Your Indoor Climate:
When temperature or humidity drifts outside a range you set, the Tapo T310 can automatically trigger connected Tapo smart plugs to switch a heater, fan, or humidifier on or off. You can also set the sensor to send instant push notifications to your phone, keeping you informed even when you are away from home. The sensor works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for voice-controlled routines.
Up to Two Years on a Single Battery:
The T310 runs on Sub-1G wireless (868 MHz in the EU) rather than standard Wi-Fi, which is the main reason a single CR2450 coin cell lasts up to 2 years between changes. A battery is included in the box, so the sensor is ready to use straight away. Note that the Tapo H100 or H200 Smart Hub is required to connect the T310 to your network and is sold separately.
Free Cloud History and Flexible Mounting:
The Tapo app stores up to 2 years of temperature and humidity data free of charge, with graphs and periodic summaries available at any time. Data can be exported to CSV for further analysis. The T310 can be placed on a desk, hung from a lanyard, fixed to a flat surface with the included 3M adhesive, or attached to any metallic surface using the supplied adhesive magnet - whichever suits the room.
