Three purchases usually happen together, and doing them in the right order saves a return. The television comes first, with screen sizes from 32 inch through 42, 43, 48, 50 and 55 inch to 65 inch, split across OLED for the deepest blacks in a darker room, QNED and Mini LED for brightness in a room with a lot of daylight, and standard LED and QLED as the everyday choice. Sound comes second, because flat-panel televisions have no room for speakers and a soundbar fixes dialogue clarity more than any picture setting will. The bracket comes third and is where most mistakes happen: brackets are sized by VESA hole pattern in millimetres and by weight rating, not by inches alone, so check the VESA pattern printed in the television manual against the bracket before ordering, and decide between fixed, tilting and full-motion based on where you sit relative to the screen.
