Shokz OpenDots ONE Open Ear Wireless Earbuds with Bassphere Sound

A new kind of clip-on earbud from Shokz:

The OpenDots ONE is Shokz's first-ever clip-on style earbud, sitting outside the ear rather than inside it. The JointArc™ flexible nickel-titanium arch grips softly around the outer ear while the silicone pad rests comfortably against it, leaving your ear canal completely clear. The result is a stable, secure fit that works with glasses, hats, and earrings without any awkward adjustment.

Bassphere™ Technology for open-ear audio:

Inside each earbud, two custom 11.8 mm drivers are arranged in a spherical Bassphere™ module, delivering solid low-frequency output while keeping physical dimensions compact. DirectPitch™ Technology channels sound directly toward the ear canal via air conduction and uses phase cancellation to reduce sound leakage to those around you. Dolby Audio enhancement is available via the Shokz App, disabled by default and switchable at any time.

Battery life built for full days:

Each earbud delivers up to 10 hours of music playback or 6.3 hours of call time from a single charge, tested at 50% volume with SBC audio. The charging case extends total listening to 40 hours of music or 25 hours of calls. A 10-minute quick charge adds 2 hours of listening time, and the case supports both USB-C wired charging (2 hours to full) and Qi wireless charging (approximately 4 hours).

Calls and controls in daily use:

Each earbud carries dual AI noise-cancelling microphones with Adaptive Beamforming to isolate your voice on calls in noisy surroundings. Bluetooth 5.4 with multipoint pairing lets you stay connected to two devices at once. Dynamic Ear Detection Technology identifies which earbud is in which ear and adjusts stereo output automatically, so there is no left or right to remember.

Customise through the Shokz App:

The Shokz App gives access to four preset EQ modes - Standard, Vocal, Bass, and Private Mode - plus two custom EQ profiles you can save. Touch controls on the battery compartment and JointArc™ are fully remappable through the app. Smart Wear Detection, which pauses audio when an earbud is removed and resumes when it is replaced, is also enabled through the app.

Setup and Care

Getting Started:

Open the charging case to power on the earbuds. On first use, the OpenDots ONE will enter pairing mode automatically. Open the Shokz App on your phone to complete setup, configure EQ settings, and remap touch controls to your preference.

Wearing and Fit:

Clip each earbud over the outer ear using the JointArc™ arch. The Dynamic Ear Detection Technology identifies left and right automatically, so no labelling is needed. The design is compatible with glasses frames, hats, and earrings.

Charging:

Place earbuds in the charging case and close the lid to begin charging. The case charges via the included USB-C cable or any Qi-certified wireless charging pad. A 10-minute charge delivers 2 hours of playback when the earbuds are running low.

Care and Maintenance:

The earbuds carry an IP54 rating, making them suitable for use during workouts and in light rain. Wipe earbuds with a dry or slightly damp cloth after use. Keep the charging case dry and store with the lid closed when not in use.
