Shokz OpenDots ONE Open Ear Wireless Earbuds with Bassphere Technology

Clip-on comfort with no in-ear pressure:

The OpenDots ONE use a JointArc™ clip mechanism made from nickel-titanium alloy with a soft silicone coating, tested to over 5,000 bending and twisting cycles in the Shokz Lab. At just 6.5g per earbud, they sit outside the ear canal entirely, meaning no soreness or occlusion during long listening sessions. The universal one-size design is compatible with glasses, hats, and earrings.

Bassphere™ and DirectPitch™ sound technology:

Each earbud houses two custom 11.8mm circular drivers arranged in Shokz's Bassphere™ configuration, delivering bass depth and clear highs from an open-ear format. DirectPitch™ Technology uses phase cancellation via multiple vents to direct audio toward the ear canal and reduce outward sound leakage. Four pre-set EQ modes - Standard, Vocal, Bass, and Private - plus two custom profiles are available through the Shokz App.

Battery life and charging flexibility:

Each earbud provides up to 10 hours of music playback or 6.3 hours of call time on a single charge. With the charging case, total playback extends to 40 hours or 25 hours of calls. A 10-minute Quick Charge via USB-C delivers 2 hours of listening, and the case also supports Qi-standard wireless charging for cable-free top-ups.

Call quality and smart features:

A dual microphone array with Adaptive Beamforming and an AI noise reduction algorithm handles call clarity in busy environments. Smart Wear Detection automatically pauses audio when earbuds are removed and resumes when replaced. MultiPoint Pairing keeps the OpenDots ONE connected to two Bluetooth devices at once, switching between them without manual reconnection.

App control and Dolby Audio:

The Shokz App (iOS and Android) gives access to EQ customisation, Dolby Audio toggle, MultiPoint setup, firmware updates, Find My Earbuds, and touch control remapping. Dynamic Ear Detection Technology means either earbud can be worn in either ear - the device identifies left and right automatically. Touch controls use taps on the battery compartment or JointArc, with a pinch gesture also supported.
