Open ear design with serious audio credentials:

The Shokz OpenFit 2+ use air conduction rather than bone conduction, housing a dual-driver system under the DualBoost™ Technology name. A 21mm × 11mm custom low-frequency driver works alongside a dedicated high-frequency tweeter to deliver clear mids and highs alongside the OpenBass™ 2.0 algorithm for bold, reinforced bass. Dolby Audio can be toggled via the Shokz App for a wider, more expansive soundstage, though enabling it reduces earbud battery life by approximately 2 hours.

Battery life and Qi wireless charging:

Each earbud runs for up to 11 hours on a single charge, with the charging case extending total listening time to 48 hours. A 10-minute quick charge delivers 2 hours of playtime. The charging case supports Qi wireless charging at 2W, making it compatible with any Qi-certified charging pad - though a wireless charger is not included in the box. A full wired charge of the empty case takes 100 minutes via the supplied USB-C cable.

Comfort, fit, and everyday practicality:

The ear hook uses a Ni-Ti (nickel-titanium) alloy frame wrapped in Shokz Ultra-Soft Silicone™ 2.0, which has a Shore 00 hardness rating of 16±3 for a soft, flexible feel against the skin. The open ear format means you retain full awareness of your surroundings during runs, commutes, or desk work. DirectPitch™ 2.0 technology reduces sound leakage by 2 to 5dB at 20cm compared to the previous version - equivalent to a 20% to 45% reduction in sound energy - so those around you are less likely to hear what you are listening to. The earbuds carry an IP55 rating for protection against low-pressure water splashes and sweat; note that the charging case is not rated waterproof.

Call quality and smart features:

Four microphones across both earbuds provide AI-enhanced call quality with background noise filtering. MultiPoint pairing lets you connect to two devices simultaneously via the Shokz App, which also gives access to a five-band equaliser (64Hz, 100Hz, 1kHz, 4kHz, 8kHz), Bass Boost and Treble Boost presets, button customisation, Find My Earbuds, and firmware updates. Wear detection automatically pauses audio on removal and resumes on replacement. Physical buttons on each earbud handle volume, track skipping, and call management without needing to open the app.

Setup and Care

Getting started:

Download the Shokz App on iOS or Android before first use to complete firmware updates, configure MultiPoint pairing, and set your preferred EQ profile. The earbuds pair via Bluetooth 5.4 and connect to two devices simultaneously once MultiPoint is enabled in the app.

Charging your earbuds:

Place the earbuds in the case and charge the case via the supplied USB-C cable; a full charge of an empty case takes 100 minutes. For wireless charging, place the case on any Qi-certified charging pad - a full wireless charge takes approximately 3 hours at 2W. Note that the charging case is not rated waterproof, so keep it away from water.

Water resistance:

The earbuds carry an IP55 rating and are well suited to workouts, runs in light rain, and sweaty sessions. Wipe them down with a soft, dry cloth after use in wet conditions. Avoid submerging them in water, and always store the earbuds in the case when not in use to protect the charging contacts.

Battery care and storage:

For long-term storage, keeping earbuds in the closed case extends shelf life to approximately 270 days. If you do not plan to use the earbuds for an extended period, charge both the earbuds and the case to at least 50% beforehand to maintain battery health.
