Open-ear sound with genuine noise reduction:

The Shokz OpenFit Pro are the first open-ear earbuds from Shokz to include Open-Ear Noise Reduction, reducing ambient noise volume by up to 14 dB while keeping you aware of your surroundings. Built on the Shokz OpenSound™ architecture with Shokz SuperBoost™ dual-diaphragm drivers — each measuring 11 x 20 mm — the OpenFit Pro extends frequency response up to 40 kHz and minimises distortion below 100 Hz, making these open ear wireless earbuds a notable step up from the OpenFit 2 series.

Dolby Atmos and spatial audio:

The OpenFit Pro supports Dolby Audio™ with Dolby® Head Tracking, activated through the Shokz App. Five preset EQ modes — Standard, Vocal, Bass Boost, Treble Boost, and Private — are available alongside two custom 10-band configurations. Shokz OpenBass™ 2.0 automatically enhances low-frequency performance, and Shokz DirectPitch™ 3.0 optimises the angle and distance between the speaker and your ear to reduce sound leakage.

Battery life and charging:

Each earbud delivers up to 12 hours of listening on a single charge, extending to 50 hours total with the included charging case — or 24 hours total with Open-Ear Noise Reduction active. A 10-minute quick charge adds 4 hours of playtime. The charging case supports both USB-C wired charging and Qi wireless charging.

Call quality and microphones:

A triple-mic array with AI voice recognition reduces background noise by up to 99.4% during calls — tested under internal lab simulation conditions. The three microphones handle environmental noise reduction and wind noise cancellation simultaneously, making the OpenFit Pro a practical choice for desk work or outdoor use.

Comfort, fit, and wear detection:

Each earbud weighs 12.3 g and uses ultra-thin nickel-titanium alloy ear hooks with Shokz Ultra-Soft Silicone™ 2.0 contact points (Shore A hardness minus 20). A hybrid optical and capacitive sensor detects when earbuds are worn — audio plays automatically when fitted and pauses when removed. Support accessories for a more secure fit are included in the box for users who need them.

Connectivity and app features:

Bluetooth 6.1 with a range of up to 10 m supports multipoint pairing to two devices simultaneously via the Shokz App. Single-earbud use is supported. The Shokz App also manages firmware updates, Find My Earbuds, EQ customisation, and head tracking. IP55 water resistance (per IEC 60529) covers the earbuds against sweat and water splashes — the charging case is not water rated.

Setup and Care

Pairing your OpenFit Pro:

Remove the earbuds from the charging case to enter pairing mode automatically. Select "Shokz OpenFit Pro" from your device's Bluetooth settings. Download the Shokz App to unlock multipoint pairing, EQ customisation, Dolby® Head Tracking, and firmware updates.

Charging the case:

Connect via the included USB-C cable or place on any Qi-compatible wireless charger. A full wireless charge takes approximately 180 minutes. Store earbuds in the case between uses to keep them topped up and protected.

Water resistance and everyday care:

The earbuds carry an IP55 rating and handle sweat and water splashes during workouts and outdoor activities. After use in wet conditions, wipe the earbuds with a dry cloth before returning them to the case. The charging case itself is not water rated, so keep it dry.

Getting the best fit:

The nickel-titanium ear hooks can be gently adjusted to suit your ear shape. If you find the earbuds sit loosely, use the support accessories included in the box to improve the fit. The Shokz Ear Adaptive Algorithm in the app will calibrate noise reduction to your ear shape once a secure fit is achieved.
