Setup and Care

Positioning:

The CNE4552W is a freestanding unit that can be placed in a kitchen, utility room, or garage. The flat-back design allows it to sit flush against the wall, and the reversible door hinge means you can choose left- or right-hand opening before installation. Allow adequate ventilation clearance around the sides and top as described in the user manual.

First use:

Allow the appliance to stand upright for at least four hours after delivery before switching it on, to let the refrigerant settle. Use the LED touch controls to set your preferred fridge and freezer temperatures. Recommended settings are typically 4°C for the fridge and -18°C for the freezer.

Day-to-day care:

Because Total No Frost technology prevents ice build-up in both compartments, there is no routine defrosting required. Wipe the interior surfaces periodically with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth. The adjustable shelves lift out easily for cleaning.

Energy saving tips:

Activate Holiday mode when the appliance will not be in regular use for an extended period to reduce running costs. Allow hot food to cool to room temperature before placing it inside, and keep the door seals clean to maintain an efficient seal.
