Setup and Care

Installation:

The BDFN36560PFX is freestanding and requires a 220–240 V / 50 Hz electrical supply with a 13-amp fused plug. Cold water fill only — connect to a cold water supply using the included hose. The adjustable feet allow up to 1.5 cm of height adjustment to level the machine on uneven flooring.

First use:

Add dishwasher salt to the softener reservoir using the included funnel and fill the rinse aid dispenser before running your first cycle. The salt and rinse aid indicator lights on the control panel will prompt you when either needs refilling.

Ongoing care:

Clean the filters regularly by removing the lower basket and rinsing the filter assembly under running water. Wipe the door seal with a damp cloth to prevent residue build-up. Running a maintenance cycle with a dishwasher cleaner every few months keeps the interior and spray arms performing well.

HomeWhiz app setup:

Download the HomeWhiz app from the App Store or Google Play and follow the in-app instructions to connect the dishwasher to your home WiFi network. Once connected, you can start cycles, check progress, and receive end-of-cycle notifications from your phone.
