A reliable solvent-based coating for exterior surfaces:

Bostik Bituminous Black Paint is a low-viscosity, solvent-based bitumen solution that forms a durable black film on a wide range of exterior surfaces. Once cured, the coating is odourless and taint-free, and remains flexible enough to cope with fluctuating temperatures over time. Two coats are recommended for full protection.

Suited to metals, roofing, concrete, and timber:

This paint is formulated for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, corrugated iron, fibre cement, concrete, roofing felt, asphalt, and timber. Typical applications include gutters, downpipes, railings, gates, corrugated metal sheeting, non-potable water tanks, shed roofs, and damp-proof foundation walls. It is not suitable for ponds, fishponds, or swimming pools.

Coverage and drying times:

Each litre covers 4 to 6 square metres depending on the porosity of the surface. The paint is touch dry in 6 hours and fully dry in 24 hours, allowing recoating the following day. For best results, avoid application in humid, foggy, or frosty conditions.
