Setup and Care

Getting started:

Attach your chosen styling attachment by aligning it with the barrel end and clicking it firmly into place. Connect the cord to a mains socket rated 220–240 V and select your preferred heat and speed settings before beginning. The MyDyson app is available as a companion source for styling techniques and masterclasses to help you get the most from each attachment.

Styling tips:

For best results, begin with the Fast Dryer on damp hair to remove excess moisture before switching to the Airwrap Long Barrel or Anti-Snag Loop Brush. Use section clips to work through hair in manageable portions, allowing each section to cool before releasing for longer-lasting shape.

Cleaning and storage:

Wipe the barrel and attachments with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove any product build-up. Remove attachments before storing and keep the unit in a cool, dry place away from moisture. Do not immerse any part of the unit in water.

Safety:

Allow the unit to cool fully before storing or packing away. Keep the cord away from heat sources and do not wrap it tightly around the barrel during storage, as this can cause wear over time. Always unplug from the mains socket after use.
