Setup and Care

Getting Started:

Charge the unit to at least 50% before first use using the supplied AC charging cable. Download the EcoFlow app and connect via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to access monitoring, charging schedules, and output settings from your phone.

Using the UPS Function:

Connect your router, laptop, or other critical device to the AC output before a power cut occurs. The River 3 UPS monitors incoming mains power continuously and switches to battery output in under 10ms, keeping connected devices running without interruption.

Charging and Storage:

For long-term storage, maintain the battery between 30% and 60% charge. The LiFePO4 chemistry tolerates partial charge cycles well, so there is no need to fully charge before every use. Avoid storing in direct sunlight or in temperatures outside the 20°C - 30°C optimal range.

Connecting Solar Panels:

Connect a compatible solar panel with an output of 11-30V and up to 8A to the solar input port. The unit accepts up to 110W of solar input and can recharge from flat to full in approximately 2.6 hours under ideal conditions. No additional controller is required.
