Fleetwood Decking Oil for Exterior Timber in Oak

Nourishes and protects in one application:

Fleetwood Woodcare Decking Oil uses a solvent-borne alkyd resin base, enriched with wax and waterproofing additives, to replace the natural oils and resins that weathering strips from timber decking. A single product does the work of feeding the wood, repelling water, and laying down a hardwearing finish - no separate primer or base coat required. Two coats are recommended for a lasting result.

Good coverage across a standard deck:

Each litre covers approximately 20-24 square metres, depending on the porosity of the timber, so a 5L tin is well suited to most domestic decks. The oil is touch dry within 5-6 hours, with recoating possible after 16-24 hours. Clean-up requires white spirit.

Fade-resistant Oak finish:

The Oak colourway gives decking a warm, wood-toned result rather than a clear or grey finish, and the formulation is fade resistant so the colour holds through successive seasons. The oil also guards against mould and fungal growth, cracking, and peeling, keeping the deck surface sound between maintenance cycles.
