Fleetwood Metal Shield - Direct to metal Paint with 5-Year Protection

No Primer, No Fuss:

Metal Shield is a 2-in-1 primer and topcoat in a single tin, meaning you can apply it directly to ferrous metal without a separate priming step. The quick-drying modified alkyd acrylic formula bonds directly to marginally prepared steel surfaces, delivering a finish that resists peeling and chipping.

Wide Metal Compatibility:

This paint works across both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including galvanised steel, aluminium, copper, zinc and brass, making it suitable for gates, railings, metal doors, frames, lift shafts and general exterior metalwork. It can also be applied to high-heat surfaces up to 90°C.

Interior and Exterior Performance:

Metal Shield provides up to 5 years of exterior anti-corrosive protection, forming a barrier against water and moisture. It is rated for interior and exterior use, making it equally suited to indoor metalwork and exposed outdoor surfaces. Coverage is up to 8m² per litre, with 1-2 coats recommended depending on the surface.
