All-Day Tracking Without a Screen:

The Garmin CIRQA is built around a straightforward idea: collect your health and activity data throughout the day and night without a display getting in the way. A single side button lets you start a favourite activity from the wrist, while everything else - steps, calories, heart rate, sleep stages, and more - is surfaced through the Garmin Connect app on your phone. The module sits at 27 x 47 x 9 mm and weighs just 14.8 g on its own, or 21.2 g with the L/XL ComfortFit band attached.

Health Sensors You Can Rely On:

The CIRQA uses Garmin's Elevate Gen 4 optical heart rate sensor, which also monitors skin temperature during sleep. Pulse Ox tracking gives you blood oxygen saturation readings, and Body Battery energy monitoring pulls together heart rate variability, stress, sleep quality, and activity data to give you a single energy score throughout the day. Women's health features include cycle, ovulation, and pregnancy tracking, and the band is compatible with the Natural Cycles birth control app (a separate Natural Cycles subscription is required).

Sleep Tracking and Recovery:

The CIRQA records sleep stages, naps, and overnight skin temperature, then generates a sleep score with personalised coaching in the Garmin Connect app. The Smart Wake haptic alarm is set to wake you during a lighter sleep stage within a window you choose. Body Battery updates overnight so you can check your recovery level before the day starts.

Activity and Training:

Over 80 activities can be tracked, from running and cycling to yoga and swimming. Outdoor pace and distance data use connected GPS from your paired phone. The CIRQA is rated to 5 ATM and is suitable for pool swimming and showering; open water swimming is not recommended. Heart rate data can be broadcast over ANT+ and Bluetooth Low Energy to compatible third-party devices and apps, making the band a useful companion for cyclists and runners who already use a Garmin head unit or cycling computer.

Battery Life and Charging:

Garmin rates the CIRQA at up to 10 days of battery life on a full charge, which takes up to 90 minutes using the proprietary 4-pin charging cable included in the box. Enabling all-day Pulse Ox monitoring will reduce battery life; Garmin has not published a specific reduced figure. The band is compatible with iPhone and Android via Bluetooth Low Energy and ANT+. Internal memory is 128 MB.

No Subscription Required - But Upgrades Are Available:

Core health, sleep, and training metrics are included in the purchase price with no ongoing subscription. An optional Garmin Connect+ plan adds AI-driven personalised insights via Garmin Active Intelligence, live activity graphs, Garmin Coach training plans, guided workouts, nutrition tracking, meditation, and breathwork sessions.

Designed to Fit Into Your Routine:

The CIRQA wears on the wrist or upper arm - the default position is set during onboarding and can be overridden per activity. The woven nylon ComfortFit band is machine washable at up to 40°C on a gentle cycle with the module removed. The module is not machine washable. The L/XL band fits wrists from 145 to 240 mm and uses 14 mm quick-release pins with a 24 mm wide strap. Garmin states the module is not compatible with third-party bands.

Setup and Care

Getting Started:

Download the Garmin Connect app on your iOS or Android phone and follow the in-app onboarding to pair your CIRQA via Bluetooth. You will set your default wear position - wrist or upper arm - during setup, and choose your favourite activity for the side button shortcut.

Wearing the Band:

Wear the band snugly against your skin, about one to two finger-widths above the wrist bone, for accurate heart rate and Pulse Ox readings. The L/XL ComfortFit band suits wrists from 145 to 240 mm and is adjustable using the stretch-fit fabric strap.

Charging:

Connect the proprietary 4-pin charging cable to the contacts on the back of the module. Charge at room temperature between 0°C and 45°C. A full charge takes up to 90 minutes and gives up to 10 days of use.

Cleaning the Band:

Remove the module before washing the fabric band. The ComfortFit woven band is machine washable at up to 40°C on a gentle cycle. The module should be wiped clean with a damp cloth only and must not be submerged in soapy water or placed in a washing machine.
