Setup and Care

Getting started:

Download the Google Health app on your iOS 16.4+ or Android 11+ device and sign in with your Google Account. Open the app, follow the on-screen pairing instructions via Bluetooth 5.4, and your Fitbit Edge will be ready to use in a few minutes. The Quick Start Guide in the box walks you through each step.

Wearing and fitting:

Choose the Active Band size that suits your wrist - small fits 130-170 mm and large fits 170-210 mm, both supplied in the box. Wear the tracker snugly, about a finger's width above the wrist bone, to ensure accurate heart rate and sensor readings during exercise and sleep tracking.

Charging:

Connect the included USB-C Fast Charging Cable to a USB power source and attach it to the port on the tracker. A five-minute charge gives you a full day of use, and a complete charge from flat takes approximately 90 minutes. The battery status is visible in the Google Health app and on the display.

Cleaning and care:

Rinse the tracker and band under fresh water after swimming or heavy sweating, and dry thoroughly before storing. The recycled aluminium case and silicone Active Band can be wiped clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunscreen, lotions, or cleaning products directly on the sensors or band.
