Owatrol Stop Rust Oil is a solvent-based rust inhibitor that works by penetrating deeply through rust until it reaches the healthy metal below. As it travels through, it displaces air and moisture, stabilises the rust, and forms a tough, flexible, insulating film that prevents rust from reforming. Touch dry in 12 hours, with a coverage rate of 18 m² per litre.

Suitable for metals, wood, plastics, and glass:

The aerosol format makes application straightforward on ferrous and non-ferrous metals including galvanised steel, aluminium, and zinc, as well as wood, plastics, and glass. The cured film is heat resistant up to +175°C, making it suitable for use on components exposed to elevated temperatures. Apply when the surface temperature is between +5°C and +35°C.
