Setup and Care

Installation:

The NV68A1140BK is designed for installation into a standard 60cm built-in housing. The required cutout dimensions are 578 mm (H) x 560 mm (W) x 549 mm (D). Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, as the oven requires a hardwired 230-240 V ~ 50 Hz supply rated to handle the 2,600-2,800 W connected load.

First Use:

Before cooking for the first time, run the oven empty at 250°C for approximately 30 minutes to burn off any manufacturing residues. Ensure the kitchen is well ventilated during this initial heat run. Remove all packaging materials and any protective film from the door glass and control panel before switching on.

Everyday Cleaning:

Allow the oven to cool fully before wiping the interior with a damp cloth. The Catalytic(1D) liner breaks down grease during normal cooking cycles, so routine cleaning of the lined surfaces requires only a light wipe. The enamel base and door glass can be cleaned with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaning solution.

Long-Term Care:

Remove the wire rack and baking tray after each use and wash them separately with warm soapy water. Check the door seal periodically to confirm it remains intact and seated correctly. Samsung's 2-year warranty (by redemption) covers manufacturing defects; retain your proof of purchase and register the product with Samsung to activate the warranty period.
