Setup and Care

Positioning and Installation:

The DW70H73YCFRU4 is a freestanding 60 cm unit that fits standard kitchen gaps. Allow adequate clearance around the unit and connect to a cold water supply; the machine also supports hot water connection if preferred.

First Use:

Fill the salt reservoir and rinse-aid dispenser before running the first cycle - the onboard indicators will alert you when each needs replenishing. Select the water hardness setting via the control panel to match your local supply.

Routine Care:

Run the Self-Clean programme regularly to keep the interior fresh and maintain wash performance. The filters are accessible from the base of the interior tub and should be rinsed under running water periodically.

SmartThings Setup:

Download the Samsung SmartThings app, create or sign into a Samsung account, and follow the in-app pairing instructions to connect the dishwasher to your home Wi-Fi network. Once connected, you can access remote diagnostics, programme downloads, and cycle notifications from your phone.
