Three jobs, one machine, one pass:

The Shark HydroVac cordless floor cleaner is a genuine 3-in-1: it vacuums up dry debris, mops with the HydroVac Multi-Surface Cleaning Solution, then self-cleans the brush roll on its dock, so you are not just moving dirt from one place to another. Shark HydroVac cleaning solution is included in the box as a starter bottle, and its Odour Neutraliser Technology helps eliminate floor odours.

Two tanks, clean and dirty kept separate:

A dedicated 500 ml clean water tank and a separate dirty water tank mean the machine always mops with fresh solution, never recycled dirty water. The Express Empty system keeps solid debris filtered separately inside the dirty water tank, so mid-clean disposal takes seconds and there is no mess to deal with.

Antimicrobial brush roll and Self-Cleaning Mode:

The antimicrobial brush roll helps prevent odour between uses, and Self-Cleaning Mode runs a wash cycle through the brush roll so it is always fresh for the next clean. LED headlights on the head illuminate hidden debris along skirting boards and under furniture, and the LED display on the handle shows battery level, surface mode and solution level at a glance.

Hard Floor Mode and Freshen Mode:

Use Hard Floor Mode on sealed hardwood, tile, marble and sealed laminate for a full vacuum-and-mop pass. Freshen Mode switches the machine to a lighter action suited to thin-pile rugs, door mats and floor mats. The WD210UK is not designed for use on thick pile rugs or carpet. With a 33 cm cleaning path and a runtime of 25 minutes per charge, it covers the average home in one charge with two clean water tank refills. The machine charges on its Self-Cleaning Storage Dock, which also stores accessories between uses.

Setup and Care

Getting started:

Attach the handle to the main unit following the steps in the quick-start guide, then place the machine on the Self-Cleaning Storage Dock and connect the charger. Allow a full 4-hour charge before first use. Fill the clean water tank with water and the recommended amount of HydroVac Multi-Surface Cleaning Solution concentrate before cleaning.

Emptying and rinsing:

After each clean, use Express Empty to dispose of the contents of the dirty water tank quickly - the debris filtration system keeps solids separated for straightforward disposal. Rinse both tanks with clean water and leave them to dry before refitting.

Self-cleaning the brush roll:

Place the machine on the dock and activate Self-Cleaning Mode using the handle controls to wash the brush roll through. Running Self-Cleaning Mode after every use keeps the antimicrobial brush roll fresh and maintains cleaning performance over time.

Filter maintenance:

Remove the foam filter regularly and rinse it under cold running water until the water runs clear. Allow the filter to dry completely before refitting - never replace a damp filter. Refer to the user manual for the recommended cleaning interval.
