Setup and Care

Getting started:

Place the AutoEmpty Charging Dock on a hard floor near a power socket, slot the vacuum into the dock, and allow a full 5-hour charge before first use. Register your product at sharkclean.co.uk/register-guarantee within 28 days of purchase to activate your 5-year guarantee. The Motorised Pet Tool and Duster-Crevice Tool clip securely to the vacuum body for storage.

Day-to-day use:

Return the vacuum to the dock after each clean and PowerDetect Intelligence will prompt an automatic empty and recharge cycle. The Flexology wand bends for low-furniture access - press the joint button to flex or straighten the wand as needed. Detach the handheld unit for stairs and upholstery by pressing the release button at the top of the main body.

Filter care:

Rinse the HEPA filter and foam filter under cold running water every month, or more frequently in high-use households. Allow filters to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before refitting - never use heat to dry them. Replace the Anti-Odour Cartridge in the dock when fragrance is no longer noticeable.

Long-term care:

Check the FurFins pet tool brush roll periodically and remove any debris from the fins using the cleaning tool provided. Empty the dock collection bag when the indicator signals it is full, even if 45 days have not passed. Store the vacuum docked and charged to maintain battery health over time.
