Tec7 PT7 Adhesion Primer for Plastics and Powder Coatings

What PT7 Does:

Tec7 PT7 is a transparent, polyolefin-based adhesion primer designed to improve bonding on surfaces that resist adhesion in their untreated state. Applied as a thin aerosol layer before using MS polymer adhesives, silicones, tapes, paints, or spray coatings, it gives those products a surface they can grip firmly and durably.

Compatible Substrates:

PT7 is formulated for use on PP, PP/EPDM, ABS, SAN, PC, PA, PUR-RIM, R-TRU, PPO, PBT, PUR flexible foam, UP-GF plastic, powder-coated surfaces, and painted surfaces. It is not intended for use on bare metals, where it offers no adhesion benefit over standard preparation methods.

Fast Drying, No Residue:

The primer dries in approximately 10 minutes at 20°C and leaves no visible traces or stains on the substrate. This makes it well suited to visible assemblies where cleanliness of finish matters alongside bond strength.

CFC-Free and Heavy-Metal Free:

PT7 uses CFC-free propellants and contains no heavy metals. The aerosol can itself is manufactured from recycled materials. Shelf life is 120 months (10 years) when stored at 10°C to 25°C with a maximum relative air humidity of 60%.
