Actiwash Pro is a nearly pH neutral, professional-grade biocide designed to remove and control organic staining on exterior surfaces. Its highly concentrated formula slows recontamination, providing effective and long-lasting results. How It Works

Actiwash Pro attacks the proteins and cell membranes of microorganisms, releasing nitrogen and phosphorus from cells. Applied as a spray or brush-on, it allows natural weathering to remove the dead biofilm over time.

1. Resin Bound Stone

Remove weeds and debris, then saturate the dry surface with diluted Actiwash. If moss is present, wait two weeks for it to turn orange before sweeping up, then apply a final saturation. The biofilm dies within 30 minutes, and natural weathering removes staining over time - green stains disappear within a week, red in 1-2 weeks, and black/dark staining over several months. Annual treatment is recommended.

2. Roof

Remove moss before treatment and protect gutters. Saturate the dry roof with diluted Actiwash by spray or brush. For heavily contaminated roofs, brush agitation is recommended. The biofilm dies shortly after application, and natural weathering removes staining progressively, with green stains fading within a week and darker stains taking several months.

3. Stonework

Clean loose dirt first, then saturate dry stone surfaces with Actiwash. Apply by spray or brush and leave to dry. The treatment kills biofilm within 30 minutes, and natural weathering gradually removes staining - green disappears within a week, red in 1-2 weeks, and black/dark staining over several months. Lichens may be the last to weather away.

4. Tarmacadam

5. Timber

6. Cladding

Remove loose dirt and identify staining types - note that orange iron staining requires a separate rust remover. Saturate dry cladding with Actiwash, allow to dwell briefly, agitate with a brush, then rinse with water. A final highly diluted spray-and-leave treatment can be applied to prevent streaking on suitable surfaces. Re-treat when contamination becomes noticeable.

7. Render

9. Pre-Paint/Trade Use

For render, apply Actiwash and leave for natural self-cleansing (1-4 weeks), or pressure wash after 1+ hour for faster results. For timber, use Actiwash with the same approach. After mechanical removal, re-treat when dry for enhanced anti-microbial properties before painting. The final treatment should not be rinsed off and can be painted once dry.

• Actiwash Pro: 40:1 to 50:1 (higher concentration for heavy contamination, lower for mild)
  

10. Tennis Court (Artificial Grass)

Manually or mechanically sweep heavy moss growth and blow away loose material. Saturate the dry court with Actiwash and leave. The biofilm dies during drying, small moss deposits turn orange and wither, and algae/fungal growth gradually brightens. The court can be used once dry and after the first rainfall if children are playing.
