ASUS Vivobook 16 - a 16 Inch Laptop with OLED Display and Intel Core i7

A full HD OLED screen with real colour accuracy:

The 16-inch OLED panel runs at 1920 x 1200 resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio, giving you noticeably more vertical screen space than a standard 16:9 display. It covers 95% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, delivers a 0.2 ms response time, and has earned TÜV Rheinland certification for reduced blue-light emission - useful if you spend long hours in front of the screen.

13th Gen Intel Core i7 with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD:

The Intel Core i7-13620H is a 10-core processor with a 2.4 GHz base clock and a 4.9 GHz boost, backed by 24 MB of cache. Paired with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1TB SSD, the laptop handles everyday productivity, video calls, web browsing, and light creative work without hesitation. The SSD keeps start-up times short and file transfers fast.

All-day battery and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity:

The built-in 42WHr 3-cell lithium-ion battery is rated for up to 15 hours of use, meaning most users will get through a full working day without needing to plug in. Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) provides a faster, less congested wireless connection compared to standard Wi-Fi 5, which is worth noting if you share a network with multiple devices at home or in the office.

Practical build with MIL-STD 810H durability testing:

The chassis has been tested to the US MIL-STD 810H standard, which covers resistance to temperature extremes, vibration, and humidity - giving it more robustness than most laptops in this category. The keyboard includes a numeric keypad, the webcam has a physical privacy shutter, and the touchpad supports precision gesture control. ASUS Antimicrobial Guard treatment is applied to the keyboard and touchpad surfaces.

Audio and software included:

SonicMaster audio technology and a built-in array microphone with Cortana voice-recognition support come as standard. The laptop ships with Windows 11 pre-installed, along with MyASUS for system management, ScreenXpert for display control, GlideX for screen sharing between devices, a 30-day Microsoft 365 trial, and a 30-day McAfee LiveSafe trial.

Setup and Care

Getting started:

The ASUS Vivobook 16 arrives with Windows 11 pre-installed and ready to use. Power on and follow the on-screen setup to connect to Wi-Fi 6E, sign in with your Microsoft account, and begin using your laptop straight away. MyASUS launches automatically and walks you through system settings including Fan Profile and Battery Health Charging.

Keeping the battery in good condition:

For everyday desk use, Battery Health Charging mode (accessible via MyASUS) limits charging to 80% to reduce long-term battery wear. When you need a full charge for travel, simply switch back to the default mode before plugging in overnight.

Cleaning and care:

Wipe the screen gently with a dry microfibre cloth - avoid abrasive cloths or liquid cleaners directly on the OLED panel. The keyboard and touchpad carry ASUS Antimicrobial Guard treatment, but a light wipe with a slightly damp cloth is still fine for regular cleaning.

Keeping your software up to date:

Windows Update and the MyASUS app both provide driver and firmware updates. Running updates regularly keeps performance, security, and compatibility in good order - MyASUS also allows you to schedule updates so they do not interrupt your work.
