Setup and Care

Getting started:

Charge the laptop fully before first use using the included 45W USB-C adapter. Power on and follow the on-screen Windows 11 Home setup, connecting to your Wi-Fi network when prompted. The MyASUS application launches automatically and gives access to ASUS Splendid display settings, ASUS AI Noise Canceling and WiFi SmartConnect in one place.

Keeping it clean:

Wipe the outer shell and keyboard with a lightly dampened microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive cloths or spray cleaners applied directly to the surface. The ASUS Antimicrobial Guard Plus coating on high-touch areas remains effective with regular light cleaning.

Battery care:

For everyday use, the MyASUS Battery Health Charging feature in the MyASUS app lets you set a charging limit to help maintain long-term battery health. The 45W fast charger reaches 60% in 49 minutes, so a short charge before leaving home provides a useful top-up.

Storage and transport:

At 1.70kg, the Vivobook 15 is light enough for daily commuting. Carry it in a padded laptop sleeve or bag to protect the display and chassis. Keep it away from direct sunlight and avoid storing it in temperatures outside normal room conditions for extended periods.
