Setup and Care

Installation and levelling:

Remove all transit bolts before first use (retain for future transportation). Position the machine on a flat, level surface near a water supply, drain point, and mains socket. Adjust the feet until the machine is perfectly level using a spirit level. Connect the inlet hose to the cold water supply and route the drain hose to the drainage point. Leave at least 3cm clearance behind the machine for ventilation and hose access.

First wash and programme selection:

Run a Cotton 60°C cycle without laundry before first use to clean the drum and internal components. Select your programme using the dial, then adjust temperature and spin speed as needed. Use the Quick programme for a full 8kg load in 28 minutes, or activate Fast+ on any standard cycle to reduce the time by up to 55%. The Auto programme detects soil level and adjusts time and temperature automatically.

Using Steam, AddXtra, and StainExpert:

Activate the Steam function to add steam at the end of the cycle for wrinkle reduction. To use AddXtra, press the pause button during the cycle, wait for the door lock to release, add forgotten items, close the door, and resume. Select StainExpert and choose from 24 pre-set stain types for optimised wash action on specific stains including grass, blood, chocolate, coffee, and cooking oil.

Cleaning and long-term maintenance:

Run a Drum Clean maintenance cycle monthly to prevent odour and residue build-up (this is not a wash programme; run without laundry). Clean the detergent drawer and door seal regularly with a damp cloth. Check and clean the pump filter periodically to prevent blockages. Leave the door slightly open after each wash to allow the drum and seal to dry, preventing mould growth. The ProSmart Inverter Motor requires no brush replacement, reducing long-term maintenance.
