Belling 60cm Freestanding Dishwasher with AutoSense and Rapid Wash

A full-size 60cm dishwasher built around flexibility:

The Belling BFDW15BK holds 14 place settings and offers 8 wash programmes across 5 temperature settings, giving you the right wash for everything from a quick weeknight rinse to a thorough clean after a big family meal.

AutoSense takes the guesswork out of each wash:

The AutoSense programme uses sensors to read the load and automatically set the correct water temperature and volume for that cycle. This means the machine does the adjusting for you rather than you having to select the right settings manually, and it helps avoid using more water or energy than the load actually needs.

Practical features for everyday use:

The 24-hour delay start lets you set the machine to run overnight or during off-peak electricity hours, which suits households trying to manage running costs. At the end of each cycle, the auto door open function releases the door slightly to allow steam to escape, which helps dishes dry more thoroughly without an additional heated drying phase. The child lock prevents accidental programme changes mid-cycle, and the LED control panel with digital display makes it straightforward to see and select your chosen programme.

Loading designed to suit mixed loads:

The height-adjustable upper basket runs on ball bearing wheels and slides out smoothly, making it easier to load and unload without items catching or tipping. The lower basket includes both a sliding cutlery tray and a traditional cutlery basket, so you can organise cutlery whichever way suits your household best. The half-load option is useful when you need a quick turnaround on a smaller number of items.

Setup and Care

Installation:

The BFDW15BK is a freestanding unit that connects to a standard household cold water inlet and waste outlet. Position it on a firm, level surface with access to the required plumbing connections and a nearby earthed mains socket. Allow adequate clearance at the door for loading and unloading.

Loading for best results:

Place heavily soiled items face-down in the lower basket and use the sliding cutlery tray or cutlery basket for utensils. Adjust the upper basket height to suit taller items such as pots and pans in the lower rack. Avoid nesting items too closely, as water circulation reaches dishes best when they have space around them.

Detergent and rinse aid:

Use a dishwasher detergent suited to your water hardness and fill the rinse aid dispenser regularly to support drying performance. Combination tablet products typically cover salt and rinse aid, though in hard water areas adding dedicated dishwasher salt separately can help maintain the internal water softener.

Routine care:

Clean the filter assembly at the base of the wash chamber regularly to maintain wash performance and prevent odours. Wipe the door seal and the interior of the door with a damp cloth as needed. Run a dishwasher cleaner or a hot Eco cycle periodically to keep the interior fresh and the spray arms clear.
