Four burners, four different outputs:

The PBP6B6K60 gives you four cooking zones with outputs tailored to different tasks: a 3.0 kW high-speed burner for rapid boiling, two 1.75 kW standard burners for everyday cooking, and a 1.0 kW economy burner for gentle simmering. Total connected load is 7.5 kW across all four zones.

Safety gas cut-off as standard:

The Safety gas cut-off instantly shuts off the gas supply if the flame is accidentally extinguished, whether by a draught, a boil-over, or a pot being removed too quickly. This feature operates on all four burners and requires no separate action from the cook.

Ergonomic sword dials for confident control:

Bosch's Ergonomic sword dials feature a raised centre grip that is easy to turn even with wet or greasy hands. The dials are spaced generously apart, which also makes wiping down the control panel straightforward after cooking. Automatic ignition is triggered directly through the dial, so there is no separate ignition button to locate.

Continuous cast-iron pan supports:

The continuous cast-iron finish pan supports span all four burners as a single grid, allowing pots and pans to be slid from one zone to another without lifting. Rubber feet on the underside keep the supports stable on the enamel surface. The black enamel hob surface and black pan supports give a consistent finish across the appliance.

Natural gas, LPG, and biomethane-ready:

The PBP6B6K60 is supplied configured for natural gas (H/E/(L) 20 (25) mbar) and includes an LPG nozzle set for conversion to liquid gas (G30/31, 28-30/37 mbar). The hob is also biomethane-ready, meaning it can operate on renewable biomethane gas without further modification. Gas Safe registered installation is required.

Setup and Care

Installation requirements:

The PBP6B6K60 requires installation by a qualified Gas Safe registered engineer. The hob needs a cut-out of 45 x 560 x 480-490 mm (HxWxD) and a minimum worktop thickness of 20 mm. A fused spur connection is required for the electrical supply (220-240 V, 3 A) as no plug is included.

LPG conversion:

Converting from natural gas to LPG is straightforward using the nozzle set supplied in the box. This work must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer. The hob is also compatible with renewable biomethane gas and requires no further modification for biomethane use.

Cleaning the hob surface:

The black enamel surface can be wiped down with a damp cloth and a mild detergent once the hob has cooled fully. The cast-iron pan supports can be removed for soaking if needed. The generously spaced sword dials make cleaning the control panel area easier than closely grouped layouts.

Burner and ignition care:

Burner caps and crowns should be kept clean and correctly seated to ensure reliable ignition and an even flame pattern. If a burner fails to light or produces an uneven flame, check that the burner cap is properly positioned after cleaning. The Safety gas cut-off feature will prevent gas flow if the flame does not establish within a few seconds of ignition.
