Setup and Care

Installation:

The SMI2HTS06G fits a standard 600 mm kitchen niche with a minimum height of 815 mm and a depth of 550 mm. The semi-integrated design leaves the stainless steel control panel visible above the door front, so no door panel fitting is required. Professional installation is recommended to connect the inlet, outlet, and power supply correctly.

First use:

Fill the salt reservoir and rinse-aid dispenser before running the first cycle. Set the water hardness level using the control panel or the Home Connect app to match your local supply. Run a short programme without dishes to prime the system.

Routine care:

Clean the self-cleaning 3-piece corrugated filter every few weeks by removing it and rinsing under warm water. Wipe the door seal and interior with a damp cloth to prevent build-up. Running a machine-cleaner tablet through an empty hot cycle every 1-2 months keeps spray arms and the tub in good condition.

App and connectivity:

Download the Bosch Home Connect app on iOS or Android and follow the in-app pairing guide to connect the dishwasher to your home WLAN. Once connected, you can access Programme Download, Silence On Demand, remote start, and real-time cycle monitoring from your phone.
