Setup and Care

Installation:

The SMS4EMW06G is freestanding and requires no cabinetry modification - it connects to a standard cold water inlet and a household drain. Position it on a level, firm surface within reach of the supply points. Inlet and outlet hoses measure 1.65 m and 1.9 m respectively, and the power cord extends to 1.75 m.

First use:

Before the first wash, add dishwasher salt to the salt reservoir and rinse aid to the dispenser. Set the water hardness level using the built-in softener according to your local water supply. Download the Home Connect app and follow the in-app steps to pair the dishwasher to your Wi-Fi network.

Routine care:

The self-cleaning filter removes food debris automatically, though rinsing the filter under the tap periodically keeps performance consistent. Wipe the door seal and exterior with a damp cloth using a mild detergent. Keep salt and rinse aid topped up as indicated by the onboard LED indicators.

Warranty registration:
