The Bosch DUL63CC50B fits neatly underneath an existing kitchen cabinet, drawing cooking steam, grease, and odours away from the hob at up to 350 m³/h in ducted mode or up to 110 m³/h in recirculating mode. Three speed settings let you match the extraction level to what you are cooking, from a gentle simmer to a full roast.

Straightforward controls and bright LED lighting:

Push-button mechanical controls keep operation simple - no touchscreens or apps required. Two 4W LED lights at 3000 K illuminate the hob area clearly, making it easier to keep an eye on what is in the pan. Illuminance is rated at 45 lx, giving a consistent white light across the cooking surface.

Easy maintenance with dishwasher-safe filters:

Two removable aluminium mesh grease filter cassettes catch grease particles before they reach the motor. Both filters are dishwasher safe and should be cleaned roughly once a month. For recirculating operation, a Bosch DHZ2701 carbon odour filter is required and should be replaced every three to twelve months - this is sold separately.

Setup and Care

Installation:

The DUL63CC50B is designed to fit under a standard kitchen wall cabinet. Mount the hood so that there is a minimum clearance of 650 mm between the bottom of the hood and the top of the hob surface, for both gas and electric hobs. The exhaust connects to standard 120 mm or 100 mm ducting for vented operation.

Switching to Recirculating Mode:

If ducting is not possible, the hood can be converted to recirculate air back into the kitchen. A Bosch DHZ2701 carbon odour filter must be fitted for recirculating operation and is available as a separate accessory. Replace the carbon filter every three to twelve months depending on frequency of use.

Cleaning the Grease Filters:

Remove the two aluminium mesh grease filter cassettes and clean them in the dishwasher or by hand approximately once a month. Regular cleaning keeps extraction performance at its best and reduces the risk of grease build-up inside the hood.

General Care:

Wipe the brushed steel exterior with a soft damp cloth and a mild detergent if needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can mark the finish. Register your appliance at www.bosch-home.co.uk/customer-service/warranty to activate the 2-year manufacturer's warranty.
