PowerBoost and precise zone control:

The PowerBoost function temporarily delivers up to 50% more power to any zone, cutting boil times significantly compared to standard ceramic or gas. TouchSelect controls let you select any of the four zones and adjust its output across 17 power levels with a straightforward touch panel at the front of the hob.

QuickStart and ReStart for everyday cooking:

QuickStart automatically detects which zones have pots placed on them and displays them on-screen, so there is no need to select zones manually. ReStart restores the hob's previous settings if it is switched off unintentionally, avoiding the need to re-enter your settings from scratch.

Frameless installation for a fitted finish:

Setup and Care

Installation:

The PUE611BB5E is a hard-wired hob requiring connection by a qualified electrician. It fits a 560 mm wide cut-out and needs a minimum worktop thickness of 16 mm, with a minimum clearance of 51 mm in depth. A 32 A double pole isolator is required; power can be limited to 16 A, 13 A, or 10 A if needed.

Compatible cookware:

Induction hobs require magnetic-base cookware. Cast iron and most stainless steel pots and pans are compatible. Check for the induction symbol on the base of your existing cookware before use.

Cleaning:

The matt ceramic glass surface wipes down easily with a damp cloth. Because induction heats the pan rather than the surface, spills are far less likely to bake on, making routine cleaning straightforward. Avoid abrasive pads that could mark the finish.

Warranty registration:

The 5-year warranty must be registered within 3 months of purchase, either online at bosch-home.co.uk or by calling Bosch customer service. John Lewis provides a 2-year guarantee as standard, with the extended 5-year cover available on registration with Bosch directly.
