Bosch Series 8 Multi Door Fridge Freezer with NoFrost and Internal Water Dispenser

573 Litres of Frost-Free Storage:

The KFF96PIEP delivers 573 litres of total net capacity across a 402-litre fridge section and a 171-litre freezer drawer, all kept frost-free by Bosch's Total NoFrost system. Because NoFrost prevents ice build-up in both compartments automatically, there is no manual defrosting required at any point during the appliance's life. Four adjustable fridge shelves, six door balconies, three vegetable drawers, and three freezer baskets make it straightforward to organise a full weekly shop for a large household.

VitaFresh pro and Consistent Temperature Control:

The VitaFresh pro drawer operates at 0°C, extending the shelf life of meat, fish, and dairy by keeping them at the optimal temperature just above freezing without actually freezing them. FreshSense sensors continuously monitor the internal environment and adjust cooling output in response to changes caused by opening the doors or adding warm food. The Multi Airflow system, mounted on a metal backwall, distributes cool air evenly across every shelf level to eliminate warm spots.

Internal Water Dispenser and Automatic Ice Maker:

Rather than a door-mounted external dispenser, the KFF96PIEP houses its water and ice system inside the fridge, which preserves the clean lines of the brushed steel exterior and avoids any external plumbing connections on the door. The automatic ice maker produces cubed ice and stores it within the fridge section, and the AirFresh and AntiBacterial filters keep the water supply free from odours and bacteria. A direct mains water connection is required during installation.

Home Connect and Smart Functions:

Home Connect Wi-Fi connectivity allows the fridge freezer to be monitored and adjusted via the Bosch smartphone app, and it is compatible with Amazon Alexa for voice control. SuperCool rapidly lowers the fridge temperature when a large amount of fresh food is loaded, then returns automatically to the normal setting once complete. SuperFreeze does the same for the freezer compartment, and both functions can be activated manually or through the Home Connect app.

Practical Design Details:

The three-door layout — two upper fridge doors and one lower freezer drawer — suits a 90cm wide space and allows the fridge and freezer sections to be accessed independently. Door hinge is reversible left or right to suit the kitchen layout. Four transport wheels are fitted, with three height-adjustable feet for levelling on installation. Child lock, open door alarm, temperature alarm, Sabbath mode, and Holiday mode are all included as standard functions.

Setup and Care

Installation:

Allow the appliance to stand upright for at least two hours after delivery before switching it on, giving the refrigerant time to settle. A direct mains water connection (cold supply) is required for the internal water dispenser and ice maker. Use the four transport wheels to position the unit, then adjust the three height-adjustable feet to level it on the floor.

Door Hinge:

The door hinge is reversible left or right and should be configured before final positioning. Refer to the installation guide supplied by Bosch for step-by-step hinge reversal instructions.

Cleaning:

Wipe the interior with a soft cloth and a mild solution of bicarbonate of soda in warm water; avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on the shelves, drawers, or interior walls. The brushed steel exterior cleans well with a damp cloth wiped in the direction of the grain, using a stainless steel-safe cleaner if needed.

Filter Maintenance:

Replace the AirFresh and AntiBacterial filters according to the intervals recommended in the Bosch user manual. The water filter cartridge supplied in the box should be replaced at the interval shown on the Home Connect app or on the internal display, ensuring water quality and ice quality are maintained over time.
